Aguilar Residence

This kitchen combines modern Euro case construction with a more traditional door style. To continue this "Country Kitchen" feel, all of the base cabinets are made of rich cherry wood with a dark mahogany accent glaze and four coats of low sheen clear lacquer.

To cut back on too much dark wood, the uppers are made in the same style out of paint grade maple. They are finished in a Chantilly Lace dura-poxy with a "toasted sugar" softening glaze as a top coat, giving them a nice aged but not dirty appearance. The antique "seedy" glass doors also help to lighten up this beautiful, homey kitchen space.

Alderman Residence

As one of our "green" jobs, the Aldermans chose amber toned Plyboo for all doors, drawer fronts and exteriors. This bamboo product is a quickly renewable and sustainable material that has proven to be both durable and attractive.

Meticulous grain matching coupled with the horizontal layout makes this kitchen seem larger with a very "airy" feel. All case interiors are made of 3/4" FSC certified maple plywood with a UV cured clear finish that is washable, chemical resistant and emits no VOCs.

The solid maple drawer boxes are made from certified lumber and are finished with a high solids Polyx-oil which was also used to finish exteriors as well. This product gives the look of a hand rubbed oil finish with the durability of a sprayed lacquer.

Atack Residence

Square edges, tight reveals and flat slab fronts give the Atack's the simple, yet elegant look they were looking for in their kitchen as well as the cabinets in the rest of the house.

A1-Plain Sliced Cherry that is architecturally grain matched with the Polyx-oil finish, gives this room a real warm glow without looking glossy and cheap. A prime example where less is definitely more.
